During first semester, Concert Band is an indoor option for students who do not wish to participate in Marching Band class.  This group rehearses during 7th hour, a separate hour from Marching Band and instruction is tailored to meet the needs of the class, with students generally performing small ensemble pieces and preparing concert music to play with the concert groups following marching season.  

During second semester, the Concert Band is a full band, and small ensembles.  The Concert Band performs a variety of standard and contemporary band literature and aims to help students develop the skills needed to advance to Symphonic Winds.  Members of the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds who wish to gain experience on a secondary instrument, or members who plan to study music in college and wish to gain music leadership experience, are also encouraged to enroll in Concert Band. The group performs at band concerts.  Private lessons are highly encouraged.  In the first semester Concert Band is taught by Craig Hatter. In the second semester Concert Band is taught by Craig Hatter.
